Did you know blogs have a sexual orientation

I keep hearing about gay blogs. I am sorry but my mind goes to very strange places when I here phrases like gay blog. I picture little paragraphs coming out to their paragraph parents and things like that. I know I am warped, but what can I say. Then I start questioning things and that tends to upset people I say things like I did not know blogs could be gay or straight or another sure fire way to make someone mad is to ask when did blogs get sexual orientations do not you have to have had sex first or at least sexual urges. People word things weird but for the sake of argument I will call them gay blogs.

Any way on to the topic at hand. Blogs conceived for and by homosexuals. See doesn't that sound so much less weird and wrong then gay blogs. I read at least are witty and funny and just like every other blog that people care about except gay blogs involve the gay community more. Two gay guys on after elton.com I find the hilarious they call the shots as they see them in a funny way. They talk about celebrities in a non gossipy way. It is just hilarious to watch them carry on.

The wicked gay blog may be full of provocative photos but offers many links to other information from gossip to hot or not. The pages are littered with snippets of news and issues. The writer or writers of this blog are smart and savvy. This one is absolutely a decent fun read.

Away from the fun side there are other blogs out there such as gay politics that touch on issues including gay marriage. Also some of the bigoted beliefs that are alive and well in this country from a southwestern mayor to a rave for the Governor's office in a southern state. Anytime someone of political power slams gays the gay politics guys are there to report it to the world.

Let's not forget about the people at gay rights watch either. Speaking out and stepping up is part of their nature. Issues or just interesting facts that are all across America they report it and to hell with the main stream news.

Blogs are blogs and they are just as motley as the people that write them. Gay or straight, black or white who we are becomes part of our blog and it shows through to our readers . Gay blogs are just as varied as any other blogging community. I least that was my thought before starting this article I am amazed at the number of supposedly educated people that have a problem with gay people or gay marriage. I guess I live in my own little dream land but wow I guess being a sexist bigot is not limited to rednecks or old people. Good to know. Everyone can be a hate monger do not let race, age or social background stop you.

I am truly appalled by the things not covered by mainstream media. Gay blogs pick up the slack to let their supports know what is going on in the world today.
