From snack bars to fast food joints to cafes to restaurants, Sydney presents a wide range of eating places.

Whether one's looking to grab a quick bite and rush off or spend some quality time with someone over a fine meal, Sydney has options for all!

A neat joint and an affordable price or a great ambience with all the trappings - Sydney caters to all tastes and matches all wallets!

Darling Harbour has several waterfront restaurants as also there is a great deal of shopping potential inside the ideally located Harbourside shopping complex. For a day of shopping and eating out, which anyway go hand in hand, Darling Harbour would be the right place.

The Rocks also provides great opportunity for shopping and eating out. There are shops that offer unique gifts and souvenirs. There are several food stalls and cafes that provide decent meal at reasonable prices. With a great many pubs, The Rocks has an interesting nightlife too!

Slightly notoriously famous for its nightlife and prostitution, Kings Cross also boasts of a number of stylish restaurants and swanky hotels. There are two other things that Kings Cross is famous for - the Artspace Gallery and, just across it, Harry's Cafe de Wheels. It stays open late into the night or into the next day! With more than 70 years of service to a clientele that includes the common Sydneysider as well as the stars of Hollywood, Harry's Cafe de Wheels can almost be reckoned a Sydney icon!

Chinatown is the place for the most delicious and the widest spread of Chinese food in Sydney. There are restaurants that remain open late in the night! The place is famous for its night markets and their quaint, ethnic wares. Shop hard in the Chinese Night Markets and tuck away some yummy Chinese delights before you drop! Besides Chinese, there is on offer Indonesian, Malaysian, Japanese and Taiwanese cuisine too!

A vast range of food variety at a broad range of prices is what you will find in Oxford Street. With its numerous pubs and bars, shops and cinemas, and cafes and food joints, Oxford Street is famous for its nightlife too!

Both Glebe and Newtown are known for their trendy food outlets. While Glebe is famous for its Glebe Street Fair, Newtown is famous for its King Street and its shops that sell diverse books and nifty clothes! Newtown has cafes, restaurants and eateries that present an extreme range, both in quality and price!

If you love the beaches and the sea, Bondi is the place for you. Bondi Beach is a resort which has a large number of stylish eating joints - both cafes and restaurants. They face the beach and the sea, and attract a lot of visitors who come for a holiday of surfboarding, swimming, sunbathing, and playing beach games!

Coogee is another coastal resort which has a lot of excellent eating places, pubs, clubs, live bands and boutiques.

Sydney Harbour, the most visited place in Sydney, has several waterfront restaurants. With the spectacular view of the beautiful harbour, the majestic Harbour Bridge and the magnificent Opera House these waterfront venues have become public favourites. The cruising restaurants provide an exciting opportunity to enjoy by far the best Sydney Harbour experience! There are boat cruises that offer fine dining in a setting of superior ambience along with live entertainment like cabaret, magic, DJs, live bands, etc. Cruising close to the Sydney icons, the boats offer great sightseeing and photo shooting opportunities too!
