Women - man's greatest weakness. Even the strongest and most courageous men feel themselves at loss when it comes to dating a woman they like. Having overcame a daunting task of asking a woman out, an instant question arises: "How I am supposed to act on the first date?" Don't worry since we are about to answer that very question for you. Below are first date's dos and donts that will hopefully help you get through the first date and onto the second one.

1. Don't act. Just be yourself. She has agreed to go out on a date with you and that already means that there is something about you that she likes. So, there is no reason for you to do extra things trying to impress her or get her approval and acceptance. As an example, don't put on cloth that you would not normally wear. If you "act" on the first date, then you are being someone else, not a person she has initially agreed to go out with. Let your true colors shine through. Be relaxed and just go with the flow.

2. Don't get your hopes too high. Remember that it is just a date and there is no guarantee that it will grow into something bigger. Men expect something to happen on the first date and that is one of their biggest mistakes. Don't become pushy and touchy, leading a conversation into a more personal zone. Women don't favor that type of scenario when it comes to the first date.

3. Don't put too much pressure on yourself and your date. There is no need to worry if there is going to be the second date. It is not the end of the world if you say or do something wrong since we all make mistakes. It is called being human. If you worry about every minute of your date they you are not going to come across as a fun person to go out on the second date with.

4. Be interested, not just interesting. Ask questions that will give you information about your date. Not only that will help you understand if the two of you are compatible, but it will also show her that you are truly interested to get to know her as a person. Just make sure that the conversation goes smoothly as you don't want it to look like you are questioning her.

5. If your date is physically attractive don't complement her on her physical looks. Instead, complement her on something that she does with her mind. If you talk about her appearance all the time, she will treat it as a sign that the only thing on your mind is to sleep with her.

6. Be a gentleman and treat her as you want to be treated.

7. When on your first date, don't invite her to a movie. The first date is about finding out if there is chemistry between you. If she agreed to go out on a date with you that means you have had conversations and you know what kind of interests she has. So, instead of going to a movies consider doing something together. How about playing tennis or kayaking.

The most important thing to remember is that the first date is just a date and dating someone is about having fun and enjoying another person's company. So, just enjoy it and see where it leads to.
